The Longing in God's Heart for the Fatherhood experience is an intense one... So much so that He gave one SON, to obtain many sons... But these must come forth after His own kind, after the image of the first begotten
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 2:9-10
"In bringing many sons unto glory..." We must be brought unto glory! Hallelujah! There is the key, this is the Father's ambition for us; and Jesus is the Father's example to us... an example of Sonship burned in through suffering. Well what exactly did Jesus suffer? Long before the physical sufferings that lead up to his death on a Cross, he suffered long with the Religious and Carnal nature of his own creation. He suffered long with the spiritual blindness of the wise and prudent...
Then began he to upbraid (defame, reproach and taunt) the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
Wow, there is a mystery here... God's Judgment is scaled, in a great way it is based on the available light, the availability of Truth, the more light there is, the greater the responsibility to respond to that light... Jesus was saying that Sodom would still be standing if he had been there, because they would have seen His Light and repented of their darkness... So what's wrong with your city and mine...? LORD GIVE US MORE LIGHT!!!
WHERE ARE THE SONS OF GLORY, WHERE ARE THE SONS OF GLORY? INTERCESSORS WAIL, HANDMAIDENS PROSTRATE YOURSELVES BEFORE THE LORD, TRAVAIL FOR THE REVEALING OF THE SONS OF GLORY! THIS NATION NEEDS MORE LIGHT, AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN FROM THE REALM OF THE SOUL, EMOTION, OR INTELLECT... IT WILL BE A BIRTHING OUT FROM THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD... MANIFESTING THROUGH THE SONS OF GLORY! SUCH LIFE AS TO TOUCH EVEN THE LITTLE CHILD, AND THE AGED WILL BE STRENGTHENED, AND LIVES WILL BE LENGTHENED...
